REED FIRM COLLECTIVE LLC (“RFC,” “we,” “us”) is based in Columbia, Maryland, United States. This policy explains how we handle personal information received through our website and related inquiries.

Information you provide

When you contact us through our website form, we receive your name, email address, company or organization if provided, and the information you include in your message. When you email us directly, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in an initial inquiry.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to respond, discuss potential projects, manage related business communications and maintain appropriate business records. We also use information needed to operate and protect the website and prevent spam or misuse.

Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in a newsletter or marketing mailing list.

Service providers and technical information

We use service providers to support website hosting, inquiry handling, email delivery and spam prevention. These services may process information necessary to perform those functions.

• Wix Forms stores the information submitted through our inquiry form and checks submissions for spam.
• Wix Automations sends inquiry notifications to RFC. The submitted email address is used as the reply address. Notifications are received through Google’s email service.
• Cloudflare Turnstile helps distinguish people from automated submissions. It loads when you open the contact form and processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser information and the website origin. Our form backend sends Cloudflare a verification token, rather than the name, email address or project message entered in the form.

Website and security services may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our custom website does not add advertising pixels, audience analytics or cookies for those purposes. Fonts and videos are served directly with the website. Video playback uses your browser’s native player rather than a third-party video embed.

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for security. Verification creates a short-lived, single-use token that expires after five minutes. RFC does not enable Turnstile’s optional pre-clearance cookie. The form keeps the token and your unsent entries in the current page rather than saving them in local storage or session storage.

You can manage cookies and website data in your browser settings. If you block the security service or JavaScript, form verification may not work. You can instead email info@thereedfirm.com.

Retention and protection

We retain inquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the associated business relationship and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention may differ for business correspondence and records relating to an engagement.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your requests

You may contact info@thereedfirm.com to ask about your personal information or request correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond in accordance with applicable law, including any requirements to retain certain records.
